Wow! I have been so terrible with keeping up with my blog. Just terrible. I think I'll go back to Christmas even though it's nearly a month later. I can't believe how fast the season came and went. It was absolutely a joy for Adam and I to spend Christmas (our first one as parents) with our Lily girl. At the time, Lily was 6 months old and sitting up like a big girl. She was fascinated with the wrapping paper and bows and almost liked her presents as much. :)

| Christmas morning at my parents' house. She found a bow and was determined to rip it off the present. |

Every year at my parents' house they do a different food themed Christmas. Last year was Italian and this year was Japanese. They hired a sushi chef and rented a deep fryer for tempura. It was delicious!

It rained on Christmas... so they needed umbrellas for the fryer. When I went outside to take pictures, my grandma locked me out... on purpose. Thanks Grandma for the wet hair. :)

To finish the day, we played LCR where we won good gifts and gag gifts. The WORST gift was an "air freshener." It was one of those adjustable cones and my uncle had removed the good scent wax and swapped it with cat fish bait. It was the most repulsive smell ever! Thanks Uncle Mike! Wow. Needless to say it was gross but hilarious. Christmas was filled with the joys of family and food and, although it was a bit busy, at the end of the day I was thankful for Jesus' many blessings.
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. Luke 2:11
